Lorano

Maria Pia Castelli

“LORANO” is a pure Sangiovese, with fruit fermented on the skins for about 15-20 days, followed by malolactic fermentation in barriques, with about 12 months aging to follow.
This Sangiovese is intense ruby red in colour and elevates the concept of drinkability to another plane.

Intense cherry, tobacco and spice aromas on the nose are nuanced with a hint of sweetness.
On the palate, the wine’s typical acidity is softened by good structure, just the right amount of alcohol, with a rich, mature tannic weave. The finale is not overly long and rings with echoes of juicy red berries. Excellent with game or red - even spicy - meats. Serve at room temperature.
